Let me preface that I am a college educated girl. I just get a lot of flack from those closest to me.... i.e., family. Read my mothers blog from time to time and I am her subject of the day!!!

I'm not at all a slow thinker and I have no learning disabilities, thank you.... but for some reason some things can just take a little longer to sink in. A joke for instance might take a few minutes to digest before any laughter comes. In this case, it's a life lesson that I just don't get. The lesson of balancing my checkbook. My New Year's resolution is to keep my checkbook balanced, (check back in a month to see how that's going...)

Finances. That's just one thing I just don't get.

Maybe I don't "get it" from time to time... but I know this much; I am the second child of five. Born in Arizona. Lived half of my life in Colorado and now am in Connecticut. I have 1 older sister, 2 younger sisters and 1 younger brother. I LOVE life. In spite of my lack of "getting it."

I do not suffer from "middle child syndrome"... but then again, maybe I am in denial and really am as screwed up as can be. Oh well, read my blog and let me know what you think in a comment.
